A bachelor party is supposed to be fun. Don’t let coordinating it become stressful, and don’t “wing it” for the night. Having a plan is what could make a dud party turn into an unforgettable night. Here is a list of things that’ll help you begin planning a successful bachelor party in Dallas. 

Pre-Party Planning

Before planning where to have a bachelor party, you must pre-plan other items. 

  • How is everyone getting from place to place? Should you have designated drivers? Hail a cab? Jump on a party bus? Call an Uber?
  • How many people are on the guest list? Keep the invites to less than 15 people and send out invitations at least a month in advance to get an accurate head count.
  • Where are you staying after the festivities? Getting everyone to different homes after a long night of partying might be difficult. It’s a good idea to book a couple of hotel rooms or see if everyone can crash at someone’s house for the night.

Daytime Activity

Before the nighttime festivities begin, have an optional daytime activity. It could be anything from golfing to watching the groom’s favorite movies. You cold also play poker, go cigar and whiskey tasting or just play video games at home.

Pre-Dinner Drinks

Kick off the bachelor party by having everyone meet in one place, whether that’s a hotel lounge, or somebody’s house. Have a couple of drinks and toast to the man of the night. Pace yourselves and don’t overdo it, a bachelor party is a marathon, not a sprint. 

Dinner

When planning bachelor parties in Dallas, you’ll probably want to eat at a steakhouse. However, it’s a good idea to save the hearty meals for another time, since heavy food might make everyone feel tired and overstuffed. 

For the group dinner, eat at a restaurant with a private room, and book it in advance. Where you go isn’t that important, it just matters that you eat good, light food and don’t have to wait an hour for a table. Did we mention that Buck’s Cabaret has a full kitchen?

Gentlemen’s Club

Plan out which Dallas strip club the party should head off to. Don’t pick one at random, the last thing you want to do is end up at a dingy club that brings the mood down.

After Hours

Not ready for the party to end? Hit up a late night dance club or bar. You could also have an after party at somebody’s house or a hotel room. Just make sure to buy alcohol prior to dinner.
